Eileen’s program helped to lay a beautiful foundation for changing my relationship with food and my body. Eileen was such a kind and encouraging coach. She made me feel SEEN and truly heard for the first time in my life. Her gentle demeanor instantly helped ease my fears and any hesitations I had going into my Intuitive Eating journey were soon forgotten. Food no longer controls my life and I can keep chips in my house and not devour them beyond satiation. I cannot remember a time since I was a young child that that has been the case. I used to have to buy my husband chips for his lunch and keep them out in our garage just to make it harder for me to eat them. And even that didn’t work. I would still sometimes sneak out to the garage and eat them. When I did break down and eat them, I would do it in secret, often finishing off the entire bag and hiding it so as not to leave behind any evidence of my binge. I experienced SO much shame around eating forbidden foods like chips and sweets, that I mostly ate them in secret and in the evenings when there were no witnesses around, often eating WAY beyond satiation and hiding the evidence. It was kind of a joke with my family, but it was not a joke to me. It was disordered eating and it controlled me. I started this disordered pattern during my childhood and until just recently, it kept me in a constant state of shame and overwhelm. Not only have I been freed from my disordered eating, binging and the shame and guilt that come along with it, but I have also learned so much about myself and how I have used food as a coping mechanism to help regulate my emotions for decades. Less than a year ago I had tried everything and I had decided that I would probably always be a slave to my cravings and just live in the shameful cycle of restricting and binging on forbidden foods. I no longer consider ANY foods to be forbidden and my entire approach toward myself, the body I am living in, and my eating habits has been completely transformed.

I am so incredibly glad I decided to take the step to work with Eileen! She has such a warm and compassionate approach, and I always felt like she was right there alongside me. She went beyond surface level stuff and helped me get to the root of where a lot of my food struggles stem from. She's been so different than other people I've worked with, dedicating energy outside sessions to support me, truly connecting with me and showing me it's not about the food but deeper things.

NBTP has been wonderful so far. I really enjoy the live sessions when I can attend them, but the content is also always available after the fact to listen to on my own time. I WFH and like to listen to the lessons while I work. Eileen’s voice is very soothing and healing as well. Eileen is also very supportive and is always available via email or the community group with any questions or concerns that may come up. I am very satisfied with my membership so far!

I truly love this program. I am at a point in my food and wellness journey where I need gentle reminders to be kind to myself and allow the messy. I feel I have a good relationship with food. But this membership still offers me so much. I consume the podcasts and the yoga!! Thats why I enjoy this membership. I get to get what I want out of it! Which for me is PERFECT! I highly recommend for people in all different places in their journey!

I enjoy our lessons very much and the exercises help in every aspect of my daily life. I find myself doing grounding exercises often in my daily journey, nursing, marriage, parenting and everything in-between. I can take 2 minutes to do an exercises and return to a place of calm interaction. It's amazing how one small idea can make such a big difference in how I react not only to food but life in general. Before learning about intuitive eating I had no concept of the depth food impacted your day to day life. How it connects so deeply to your own self journey. Personally Eileen has guided an openness I never knew I had. Being able to feel my own power again is something I will forever be grateful for. Not only was she there for me when I needed her, she would reach out even when I didn’t think I did. This crazy connection to my needs inside and out has truly inspired me into taking more steps into loving and taking care of myself.
